All parts have melodic and rhythmic interest making it fun for all students involved. Written entirely in 1st position, there are challenges with chromatic notes (G#s and D#s) as well as the usual low 2nd fingers in violins violas. There are also opportunities for the violins to use 4th fingers instead of open E. There are some syncopated figures as well that will help develop the students
