My testing for SCG Syracuse has brought me to this list, which is very close to the list from above with some minor changes: Creatures (18) 4 Simian Spirit Guide 4 Magus of the Moon 4 Goblin Rabblemaster 1 Pia and Kiran Nalaar 1 Hazoret the Fervent 4 Legion Warboss Planeswalkers (4) Lands (18) Spells (20) I made some changes to the sideboard based on advice from others, as well as a desire to have some additional card advantage elements in the sideboard

Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund Dragons might be my favorite typal deck, and Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund gives all your dragons haste

It's not just a dark, black, unlit area with very little happening

You can then sacrifice the token your commander makes to Perilous Research, making it a super-efficient little card draw effect thats very easy to cast
