Semplice Brewery_The Rare Barrel Barrel-aged Saison cofermented w/ CarignanSemplice is the simpler, lighter version of Doppio, an imperial sweet stout with coffee, originally brewed last winter. We've incorporated El Arco Guatemalan coffee, roasted at Cantook in Quebec City. This washed Bourbon variety develops aromas reminiscent of milk chocolate and custard. The result is a stout that's lighter than usual, but still quite smooth and very rich in flavor with its notes of chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt.
